Ex-Ethereum Foundation Heavyweight Vladislav Martynov Joins Azuro Protocol As An Advisor

Vladislav Martynov, global serial entrepreneur, Co-founder of Blockgeeks, and ex-advisory board member of the Ethereum Foundation has joined the Azuro Protocol team as an advisor, committing to help them on the journey of making betting fully transparent, fairer, and more fun.

Azuro seeks to decentralize and democratize the business of betting by breaking down the role of the bookmaker into several smaller roles, openly available for anyone to benefit from liquidity provision, front-end management, data provision via oracles, decentralized governance. As a result, they envision creating a betting environment with decreased service cost to players, trustless and sharing more value with more participants.

The Azuro team has announced that Vladislav Martynov, who also is Executive Chairman at ICEBERG Sports Analytics, has joined as an advisor. The parties will also explore options for cooperation between the protocol and ICEBERG, on top of their core focus of changing betting for the better through decentralization.

Azuro CEO Paruyr Shahbazyan commented that “Vlad contributes a ton of expertise & smarts from the blockchain space and as co-founder of Blockgeeks. But much more importantly — in the world of founding and running businesses that make a positive social impact, Vlad’s experience is second to none. We are thrilled to have him alongside us and can already see how his contribution will be invaluable to our mission.”

Vlad Martynov, from his end, said, “It’s inspiring to see a capable, passionate team, which is focused not only on business gain but improving on how an industry works. I am delighted to be able to support Azuro Protocol on their journey. In their solution & approach, I see the right ingredients for both commercial success and positive social impact.”
