Testnet v2 is LIVE at Azuro. That’s right, you are already able to place bets for free with test USDT using the new and improved Azuro Testnet.
The new version already dwarfs v1 and includes many more betting markets for you to choose from. There’s 4 new markets for football (soccer) like Full Time Result (1/X/2), Double Chance, Total Goals and Handicap (coming shortly) markets. And there are also 2 new eSports leagues coming soon: CS:GO & Dota2 will have markets such as Match and Map Winner.
To share all this excitement and to incentivize users to rigorously test the improvements, #azuroSZN (Azuro Season) is starting on Monday, January 10. It consists of weekly challenges and events through which you can test, have fun and earn precious NFTs planned to have utility on Azuro Mainnet (expected in Q2).

#azuroSZN sees the launch of various competitions over the coming weeks that will give you a chance to win a boatload of awesome prizes, including NFTs and Discord roles.
Challenges will run weekly with rules changing after the completion of each challenge. The prizes up for grabs are NFTs and Discord roles with each type of challenge completed earning a different NFT/Discord role.
The competitions will focus on betting activity on Testnet v2 but we’ve also thrown in a Weekly Meme Challenge for those of you that fancy yourselves as meme kings and queens.
All NFTs won are planned to have sweet future utility that will be revealed further down the line. But you will be already able to claim clout on Discord shortly after you earn your role!

Weekly Betting Challenge
The Weekly Betting Challenge is all about betting as the name suggests. Choose from various football (soccer) markets and get as many successful results as you can to win prizes.
The first challenge starts this Monday! Complete as below to qualify for rewards and get to know the new betting interface.
Challenge 1: 10 Jan — 16 Jan Make 3 winning Full Time Result bets in one week from the markets available on Azuro Testnet. If you achieve this you’ll be rewarded with the ‘Savvy Bettor’ NFT and Discord role.
Weekly Mystery Challenge
Details on how to win the Weekly Mystery Challenge will remain a mystery; some of you may get lucky and win by chance, some may dig in and sort out the details from the clues given in Discord.
That being said, if you manage you will get rewarded with the Mystery Solver Discord role and NFT — not an easy one to get!
As with the rest of the challenges, there will be different challenges running weekly and rules will change each week.
Weekly Meme Challenge
Meme kings and queens step right up! The Weekly Meme Challenge invites Azuro believers to create their best memes in relation to Azuro and submit to the community for voting. First week the decision will be made by a highly selective group of core members and admins, and then for next weeks, we’ll move over to community voting.
Each meme must be posted in the Memes channel on Discord or tweeted with hashtags #azuro & #azuroSZN.
Make sure your memes are related to betting, crypto or sports and with an Azuro theme for a chance to win!
The top 3 memes every week will get the coveted Meme-zurian Discord role. This is probably the toughest role & NFT to get!

NOTE: NFTs will be minted and distributed to you on the Rinkeby testnet. These will serve as place holders. They will then be exchanged for mainnet NFTs when Azuro moves from a testnet to mainnet.
Dates
The first round of challenges (as outlined above) kicks off Monday 10th January and will run to Sunday 16th January.
From then on there will be weekly challenges up until (at least) the end of January.
What’s On
There’s plenty of great footy action on this week. There’s a huge game in the Premier League on Saturday with league leaders Man City facing title challengers Chelsea.
Plus the North London Derby is on Sunday which sees bitter rivals Arsenal and Tottenham face off at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
In Italy, Atalanta v Inter could be the highlight of the weekend in Serie A with a potential goal fest in store.
And in the Bundesliga in Germany, 2nd place Dortmund kick off the weekend’s action on Friday night at home to Freiburg with runaway leaders Bayern heading to Koln on Saturday.
